Black Sands

Black Sands, Bonobo’s most recent release, mixes styles into a flowing, though not perfectly smoothly transitioning set of tracks. Using more live instruments than his previous albums, the overarching feel of the music is more ‘Pick Up’-esque which is a good thing shown quite obviously by the fact it has been an album I play a lot recently. I really recommend it to anyone who’s up for more instrumental than vocal music in the same vein as The Cinematic Orchestra.
