At last, many months late, Muscart version 2 is ready for the world to consume. The website has changed much since version 1 both visually and content-wise and so I thought I should explain these changes for those who are both new and repeat visitors.
To start, the website has been recoded from the ground up to be easier to peruse and more minimal in design, reducing how often people have to load page to get to content. Categories are now in the sidebar, share links are colour coded, related posts now have thumbnails to help you decide where you want to go, and the home page shows more posts in less space – all things which I hope will make peoples visits easier.
Next is content. When I say that the content has changed, Muscart has become more of a way for me to share thoughts and links to work which I like in most art types from video, to traditional art, to web design. Also I am not going to post because I feel a prerogative to write but instead because I want to so updates may not be 5 a day and instead could be 5 a week.
Though I say that this is the spangly new Muscart, there will almost certainly be be some wrinkles in design and coding to be ironed out so if you see anything crazy or unruly or even a change which doesn’t work for you, you can reach me at jon@muscart.com.
Please enjoy,
Jon
